Those are just a few of the reasons to tune in to FloRugby this weekend for the 2025-2026 Gallagher PREM Rugby Final between the Northampton Saints and Exeter Chiefs.
The showdown will take place Saturday (June 20) at Allianz Stadium Twickenham in London, the official home of England Rugby, but often the backdrop for some of the sport’s biggest contests.

Both teams took different routes to the final, but each delivered a performance worthy of a place on English rugby’s biggest stage – a place that is not unfamiliar to either squad over the past dozen years.
The venue for the upcoming matchup is as iconic as they come in any sport, and Allianz Stadium no doubt will be overflowing with as many as 82,000 excited fans.
Heading into the championship match, Exeter could have some serious momentum or could turn up completely exhausted after completing an epic semifinal comeback last weekend against Bath Rugby, the defending Gallagher PREM champion.
The Chiefs were down 16 points at halftime, 26-10, but came out of the locker room and dominated on both sides of the ball to escape with a 27-26 victory.
They held the reigning champions scoreless in the second half and scored three tries of their own to secure the seemingly unlikely victory and earn a spot in this week’s title tile.
Exeter is looking to win its first Premiership trophy since 2020.
Northampton’s path to the final was a little less dramatic.
A six-try performance lifted the Saints past the Leicester Tigers 45-31, proving once again just how offensively explosive Northampton can be.
Bath’s victory in 2025 brought the team some redemption after falling short against Northampton a year earlier. The Saints won their meeting 25-21, and Bath used the second chance to take down Leicester 23-21.
Now, Northampton is back in the championship match and will be looking for title No. 3. The team’s first win came at the end of the 2013-2014 season.
Exeter also owns a pair of Gallagher PREM Rugby titles (2016-2017 and 2019-2020).
