Bath Rugby begin their Gallagher PREM Rugby title defense in the playoffs with a home semifinal against Exeter Chiefs, as the West Country rivals meet once again with a place in the final on the line.
The reigning champions earned home-field advantage after battling past Leicester Tigers last week, while Exeter secured the final playoff berth with a dramatic victory over Saracens on the last day of the regular season.

Bath enter the semifinal looking to reach a third consecutive PREM final under Johann van Graan. The hosts will once again be without Scotland international Finn Russell, meaning Santiago Carreras continues at fly-half after steering the side through recent weeks.
Tom Dunn returns from suspension at hooker, while Quinn Roux joins the starting pack as Bath look to capitalize on home advantage at The Rec.
Exeter arrive with confidence after securing their playoff place and having already beaten Bath convincingly at Sandy Park earlier this month. Rob Baxter’s side has made just one change to the starting XV, with Greg Fisilau returning at No. 8.
The Chiefs also welcome Ross Vintcent back to the matchday squad, giving them additional firepower off the bench for what promises to be a physical encounter.
The Rugby Odds crew have locked in their predictions for another massive weekend of knockout rugby:

The matchup features two of the PREM’s most efficient teams. Bath led the league in visits to the opposition 22 this season and boast one of the competition’s most dangerous attacking units. Exeter, meanwhile, built their success through relentless pressure, leading the league in total ruck entries while ranking among the best kicking teams.
With both sides having won one meeting apiece during the regular season, a place in the final will now be decided in a winner-take-all showdown.
Bath Rugby vs. Exeter Chiefs Kickoff Time
Bath Rugby host Exeter Chiefs at 10 a.m. ET in a Gallagher PREM Rugby semifinal at The Rec on Saturday. Christophe Ridley will referee the match as the reigning champions look to book another appearance in the PREM final.
