The Ulster Rugby loosehead prop has been named the URC Try of the Season winner after fans selected his remarkable score against Cardiff Rugby as the best try of the campaign. Bell emerged victorious from a shortlist of 10 nominees after close to 10,000 votes were cast.

A Try Unlike Most Scored By Props
The score came against Cardiff Rugby in January.
Picking up possession from a ruck roughly 30 meters from the try line, Bell first powered through a tackle before producing a stunning sidestep that left one defender grasping at air. He then cut back inside another defender before racing away to score.
The Affidea Stadium crowd erupted as Bell crossed the line.
Fans Made The Final Decision
Unlike many of the URC’s statistical awards, Try of the Season was decided by the fans.
Bell's effort beat out nine other finalists, including scores from players representing the Vodacom Bulls, Glasgow Warriors, Fidelity SecureDrive Lions, Dragons RFC, Zebre Parma, DHL Stormers, Munster Rugby and Ulster.
The competition attracted a record number of votes.
Another Win For Front-Row Flair
Bell’s award arrived shortly after fellow prop Rhys Carre earned recognition for a memorable try during the Six Nations.
The trend has highlighted the growing athleticism of modern front-row forwards, who are increasingly capable of producing moments once reserved for backs.
