
Australia’s National Men’s rugby team is one of the 12 nations competing at the first-ever Nations Championship tournament starting this Summer.
The team suffered a major setback for the tournament when scrumhalf Jake Gordon underwent surgery on his achilles on last month.

Currently ranked No. 8 in the World Rugby Men’s rankings, the Wallabies will have to compete without their star player on a major stage.
The teams are split into two groups, the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. Australia rugby will be competing in the same group as the tournament favorite Springboks.
Australia is led by team captain Harry Wilsom and new head coach Joe Schmidt, who is preparing to hand over the reins to Les Kiss after the Nations Championship. Here is the Wallabies’ schedule for the 2026 Nations Championship:
