DHL Stormers Are making Major Moves For Next Season
The Cape Town franchise recently confirmed that Springbok superstars Cheslin Kolbe and Siya Kolisi are expected to return to DHL Stadium next season as part of the club’s ambitious “Project 2029” vision.
Kolbe’s return has already been described as one of the biggest signings in modern Stormers history.
Director of Rugby John Dobson told Rugby Pass that Kolbe was “a son of this community” and emphasized how important his return will be both on and off the field.
Kolbe previously made 49 appearances for the Stormers before becoming one of the biggest stars in global rugby through successful spells in France and Japan.
Now, the double Rugby World Cup winner returns home alongside Kolisi as the Stormers attempt to build a long-term championship culture around elite local talent.
