The Glasgow Warriors return to Scotstoun Stadium on Friday for a key URC clash against Benetton, with both sides firmly in the mix as the playoff race intensifies.
Backed by a home crowd, Glasgow will look to assert control early, while Benetton arrives with ambitions of matching tempo and physicality on a fast artificial surface.
Head coach Franco Smith highlighted a notable inclusion for the hosts, with Fergus Watson set to make his debut after working back to fitness.

“Fergus has worked hard with our medical and S&C teams to put himself in the best position possible,” Smith said. “We are excited to see him run out in the Glasgow jersey.”
Smith also pointed to the challenge posed by Benetton’s depth and playoff push.
“They are in the thick of the race for the playoffs and will compete for every opportunity,” he said.
Benetton head coach Calum MacRae emphasized his side’s approach to the contest.
“Against Glasgow will be a fast game on an artificial pitch, but we’ll approach it in the same way: being proactive and attacking it from the start at full pace,” he said.
