The ACT Brumbies enter the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific campaign after a successful season. 

The 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season again saw the Brumbies, based in Canberra and playing at GIO Stadium, operate near the top of the table. Through the years, the Brumbies have been among the most successful teams in the league. 

They finished with a 9-5 record and 44 points across 14 matches, placing third in the final standings. That performance carried the Brumbies into the semifinals, where their season ended as losing semifinalists.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Brumbies do so following significant roster turnover as they attempt to take the next step. 

Head coach Stephen Larkham continues to lead the program, with captain Allan Alaalatoa anchoring a reshaped squad ahead of another Super Rugby Pacific season.

The ACT Brumbies Coach Is Stephen Larkham

Stephen Larkham is the head coach of the ACT Brumbies, leading the Canberra-based side into the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season. Larkham made 112 appearances from 1996-2007 with the Brumbies and tallied 102 caps for the Wallabies.

When Does The Super Rugby Pacific Season Start?

The 30th season of Super Rugby begins with Round 1 on Feb. 13, with the first game being in Dunedin between the Highlanders and Crusaders at 1:05 a.m. ET.
