The margins between Six Nations countries are arguably as thin as ever, and while France brings an all-world squad to the premier European rugby union competition, they’ll have to make it through five rounds to win their first consecutive titles since Les Bleus did it in 2006 and 2007.

The 2026 Six Nations starts with a cracker, though, with Antoine Dupont making his international Test return after nearly a year away against a visiting Ireland team looking to avenge a horrid loss to the French last campaign.
England head into the tournament in good form after the Autumn Nations, and Italy and Scotland remain a tough out, especially at home.
Wales is the wild card, and while the Dragons have seemingly turned a corner from a disastrous 2023, 2024, and first half of 2025, it remains to be seen if they can return to their former glory.
