Glasgow sits level with Bordeaux for the most match points in the field but trails the defending champions on point difference entering Round 4. The Warriors have been one of the standout teams of the tournament, highlighted by a dramatic 28-21 comeback win over Toulouse in Round 2 after trailing 21-0. 

That result, combined with consistent form across competitions, has fueled belief that this side could make history. No Scottish club has ever reached a Champions Cup semifinal, and Glasgow now has a path to become the first to secure a No. 1 seed in the Round of 16 with a win and a Bordeaux loss.

Saracens arrives with its own statement wins and scenarios in play. 

The Gallagher PREM Rugby power also defeated six-time champ Toulouse at home, winning 20-14, and the team's only loss in pool play came in Durban against the Hollywoodbets Sharks with a rotated lineup. 

Saracens trails Glasgow by five points but owns the point-difference tiebreaker entering the round, meaning a bonus-point win—combined with denying Glasgow a bonus—could elevate Saracens to the top seed. 

While not officially clinched, Saracens would need an extreme result to miss the playoffs entirely, underscoring how much of Sunday’s focus is on seeding, rather than survival.
