After two blistering rounds of Champions Cup action, the Gallagher PREM is making a serious statement in Europe. 

English clubs sit atop two of the four pools, with momentum building across the competition and performances that rival, and in many cases outshine, their Top 14 and URC counterparts.

The Northampton Saints are the headline act. Perfect after two rounds, the Saints not only lead Pool 4, they're first overall in the entire competition. 

Wins over Pau (35-27) and a jaw-dropping 50-5 demolition of the Bulls have delivered a competition-best +53 point difference, putting them ahead of Bordeaux and Glasgow. 

Bath Rugby tops Pool 2 on six points, though Round 2 brought a surprise setback in a 45-34 loss to Toulon. Still, Bath remains in control of a tightly packed pool where every other team sits on five points. Given Bath's dominant PREM form, five wins from six, few doubt the squad will rebound strongly.

Elsewhere, the Bristol Bears are flying under the radar but sit fourth overall with nine points and a massive +50 point differential, highlighted by a stunning 61-12 rout of Top 14 leader Pau. 

Saracens is second in Pool 1 ahead of Toulouse, while Harlequins remains firmly in the hunt in Pool 3.

Overall, the message is clear: the Gallagher PREM has arrived in Europe — fast, fearless and ready to contend.
