The United Rugby Championship is back — at least for one week — after a month-long hiatus during the autumn international window, and one of the biggest matches of the season will greet rugby fans.

And it’ll have a free enhanced broadcast, to boot.

Munster Rugby vs. the DHL Stormers — the top teams in the URC — both are 5-0-0 so far, and both have wins over the presumptive favorite to win the Grand Final, Leinster, this year. 

The winner this week will enter the Investec Champions Cup and the key holiday URC slate alone at the top of the table.

This match also will be the third FloRugby Athlete’s Lounge simulcast that will stream free on FloRugby and the FloRugby Facebook and YouTube pages.

It’s an interesting week of URC action altogether. 

Many clubs will be without their international stars, including the South African and Welsh clubs, as the two countries play their final November matches Nov. 29. 

Ireland, Scotland and Italy finished their 2025 international seasons last weekend.

It means this week should showcase many of the clubs’ depth and young players. Here are three can’t-miss matches in Round 6:

Ulster vs. Benetton Rugby — 2:45 p.m. ET, Friday, Nov. 28

Ulster is fifth in the standings, while Benetton is 10th. But despite the table gap, a win by Benetton would make the team 3-0-3 and just a game behind Ulster, which has played only four matches so far because of a weather cancellation earlier this season.

Ulster also has an advantage here, as the Belfast club won’t be missing many players because of international play, while Benetton will be without many of its Italian nationals.

Munster Rugby vs. DHL Stormers — 12:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, Nov. 29

This is the match of the week on FloRugby and the FloSports app. 

Munster won’t be as short-handed as the Stormers because of the Springboks’ match against Wales the same day.

Still, the same Stormers club — without its Springboks — handed Leinster Rugby a 35-0 loss in Week 1. 

Munster doesn’t feed as many players as Leinster does to the Irish national team, meaning the Reds will only be missing a handful of stars.

This match is at Thomond Park and will stream for free via the FloRugby Athlete’s Lounge. The normal broadcast will stream on FloRugby.

Connacht vs. Hollywoodbets Sharks — 2:45 p.m. ET, Saturday, Nov. 29

Because of the international schedule and player rules, both of these clubs have struggled mightily through the first five rounds. 

The Sharks won’t get any relief from that this round, while the Westerners likely will be without their Irish stars.

Connacht is 1-0-3, while the Sharks are 1-1-3, and the two clubs are separated by one point — Connacht with nine and the Sharks with eight.

At first glance, this match seems like two teams that will struggle to make the Champions Cup field, but reality is that it only applies to the loser. That team cannot afford to drop many more matches and risk digging a hole their stars can’t dig out of later this season.
