Springboks Defeat Ireland 24-13 For First Dublin Win Since 2012
The Springboks beat Ireland 24-13 in a fierce Aviva Stadium clash, earning their first Dublin win since 2012 with big plays and tough defense.

The Nov. 22 Ireland vs. South Africa match served up the most intense matchup of the Autumn Nations Series.
The Springboks stormed into Aviva Stadium and delivered a statement 24-13 victory — their first win in Ireland since 2012 — in a match overflowing with chaos, cards and clutch plays.
South Africa struck early with Damian Willemse slicing down the left wing in the third minute for the opening try.
The tone was set: fast, physical and unforgiving.
Ireland fired back through Tadhg Beirne’s powerful 20th-minute finish, but the try was recalled, and James Ryan’s yellow card was upgraded to a red.
Ireland didn't put points on the board until the 36th minute through Dan Sheehan, right after South Africa's 33rd-minute try by Cobus Reinach.
Ireland's discipline continued to unravel, and the first half ended with three yellow cards and one red for the team. South Africa was awarded a penalty try just before halftime, pushing the visitors ahead 19-7 at the break.

Ireland clawed for momentum in the second half — Sam Prendergast’s crisp penalties kept things within reach — but every spark was met with a Springboks hammer.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s blazing 47th-minute try extended the lead and showcased the depth and dynamism that makes South Africa the world’s best.
Late drama surged when Grant Williams was sent off in the 78th minute, and Ireland camped meters from the try line, but the Springboks defense held firm.
From massive line-break denials, like Crowley’s clutch knock-away to bruising rucks, this was rugby at its fiercest.
A historic hard-won triumph for the Springboks — Dublin finally conquered again.

Full-Time: Springboks Victory In Most Intense Match Of Autumn Nations Series
The No. 1 Springboks prove why they are the world's current best.
A strategic and physical performance at Aviva Stadium earned them a 24-13 win over Ireland. This extends their unbeaten Autumn Nations Series slate.
Ireland played hard and showed incredible strength on defense, but with penalty after penalty and numerous yellow cards, the Irish had trouble finding momentum on the offensive end.
Ireland Stays Fierce Until The End, Grant Williams (RSA) Yellow Card - 78'
South Africa 24, Ireland 13
Ireland has been meters from the try line for some time now.
South Africa keeps pushing back the hosts, but they are hungry and determined.
In the chaos, Williams plays the ball on the ground and is shown a yellow card.
Crowley Blocks South Africa - 70'
South Africa 24, Ireland 13
As soon as Ireland clears, the Springboks get themselves right back in their opponent's territory with a swiftness.

Ireland's Tom Farrell Comes On For Mack Hansen - 64'

South Africa 24, Ireland 13
Paddy McCarthy is shown a yellow card.
McCarthy is the fifth Irish player shown a card this match, which has seen 17 penalties conceded on the Irish side.
This will be the downfall of Ireland. With so many players being taken out, and so many stops to play, the team hasn't had the chance to build any real momentum.

Ireland wins the penalty again, as Jamison Gibson-Park is brought down.
Sam Prendergast makes the kick.
