There’s a new leader for Wales, and on Nov. 9, Welsh rugby fans will see his first lineup — with one welcome name returning.

Steve Tandy was hired by Wales earlier this year and will coach his first match for the team on Sunday. 

Wales will welcome Los Pumas of Argentina to Principality Stadium in Cardiff. 

At his disposal is Louis Rees-Zammit, who has missed the better part of two years while pursuing a shot at the NFL.

Rees-Zammit last played for Wales in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Tandy comes to Wales after coaching Scotland’s defense from 2019 to 2025. He was part of the British and Irish Lions coaching staff in 2021 and previously served as head coach of Ospreys from 2012 to 2018.

Argentina, meanwhile, enters the test after a mixed bag of results in The Rugby Championship. 

Los Pumas earned wins over the All Blacks and Australia but were swept by the Springboks. Before that, they dropped a pair of matches to England in July.
