Ireland Rugby vs. Japan Kickoff Time, Lineups
Ireland hosts Japan at Aviva Stadium in the Quilter Nations Series. Here are the lineups.

Ireland returns home to Aviva Stadium in Dublin to open its Quilter Nations Series campaign with a clash against Japan on Nov. 8.
Coach Andy Farrell’s squad features a blend of experience and new opportunity, as Caelan Doris captains the side after making his comeback from injury in Chicago last week against the All Blacks.

Farrell has rewarded form and consistency across the lineup, handing a test debut to Munster’s Tom Farrell, who starts at center alongside Robbie Henshaw.
The back three of Jamie Osborne, Tommy O’Brien and Jacob Stockdale brings balance and pace, while Craig Casey and Jack Crowley form an all-Munster halfback pairing.
In the pack, Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher and Thomas Clarkson make up the front row, with James Ryan and Tadhg Beirne anchoring the second row. Ryan Baird, Nick Timoney, and captain Doris round out a dynamic back row.
Japan arrives in Dublin aiming to disrupt Ireland’s rhythm with its high-tempo, offload-heavy attack.
The Brave Blossoms’ forward unit, featuring Warner Dearns and Ben Gunter, will test Ireland’s set-piece, while the back line built around halfbacks Naoto Saito and Seungsin Lee provides creativity and speed.
Saturday’s meeting promises a sharp, technical contest between two ambitious sides looking to sharpen form ahead of next year’s international calendar.
