All Blacks Defeat Ireland 26-13 At Soldier Field After Early Red-Card Drama
A red card set the tone early, but New Zealand surged late to beat Ireland 26-13 in Chicago, claiming the Gallagher Cup with a dominant second half.

New Zealand powered past Ireland 26-13 in front of a sold-out crowd at Chicago's Soldier Field in a clash that lived up to its heavyweight billing.

Ireland struck first through a Jack Crowley penalty and a bulldozing Tadhg Furlong try, even after Tadhg Beirne was sent off early.
The Irish led 10-7 at halftime, showing defiance and discipline, despite being down a man.
However, the second half was dominated by the All Blacks.
Tamaiti Williams crashed over to give New Zealand the lead, Wallace Sititi added another with a slick move set up by Beauden Barrett and Cam Roigard sealed it late from a scrum.
Ireland’s momentum faded as New Zealand’s depth and pace took control.
The result delivers the Gallagher Cup to the All Blacks and reinforces their No. 2 world ranking, while Ireland leaves Chicago with pride, and a reminder of how small the margins remain between rugby’s true elite.
Recap the game below as it happened.
