Bulls head coach Johan Ackermann said his side faces a major early test as it adjusts to the travel demands and atmosphere in Belfast.
“It’s a big challenge; our first game on tour against a side with rich European history,” Ackermann said. “Look at the players produced — legends of the game, with a passionate crowd too.”
Ackermann said he expects intensity from Ulster and wants his team to match it from the opening whistle.
“I must ensure I get the boys energized after traveling,” he said. “Ulster have massive threats all over the park: big ball carriers with an attacking brand of rugby.”
