Benetton head coach Calum MacRae said the focus for his squad is on sharper defensive cohesion and physical presence.
“Against Lions, we need to improve our communication and connection in defense, as well as work on our physicality to apply greater pressure on the opposition and win more collisions,” MacRae said.
That emphasis on collisions sets up a bruising contest against a Lions pack loaded with size and mobility.
Round 3 represents another chance for each team to build momentum before returning home for back-to-back fixtures later in October.
