Edinburgh vs. Ulster Match Postponed Due To Storm Amy

Edinburgh and Ulster's Round 2 United Rugby Championship match is being postponed due to weather.

With Storm Amy hitting Scotland hard on Oct. 3, the Edinburgh-Ulster Rugby match is being postponed to a later date, the United Rugby Championship announced. 

"Due to worsening weather conditions across Scotland overnight from Storm Amy, the fixture between Edinburgh Rugby and Ulster Rugby which was due to take place this evening, Friday Oct. 3 in Edinburgh, will now be postponed to a later date," the URC said in a release.

"The BKT URC will now consider available dates with broadcasters and both clubs to reschedule the game," the release continued. 

The match was Edinburgh's home opener after losing in Round 1 to Zebre Parma in Italy. 

Ulster, meanwhile, won in Round 1, beating the Dragons in Belfast. 

What About The Glasgow Warriors?

The other Scottish rugby team, the Glasgow Warriors, in are in Italy for a match against Benetton at 12:30 p.m. ET.
