Munster Rugby enters the new season with confidence after another strong campaign in the United Rugby Championship. The province has been a cornerstone of Irish rugby since its founding in 1879, with European Cup triumphs and URC titles shaping its legacy. 

In 2022-23, Munster were URC champions, and though Leinster and the South African franchises have raised the standard, Munster remain a team built for knockout rugby.
