Dallen Stanford To Host First FloRugby Athlete's Lounge Broadcasts
FloSports is launching the first FloRugby Athlete's Lounge Broadcast during the first round of the Gallagher PREM Rugby Season on Sept. 26
To help kick off the start of the 2025 Gallagher PREM Rugby season, which will stream all season long on FloRugby and the FloSports app, we’re bringing in some help to mark the occasion on Sept. 26.
For the first time ever, FloRugby will stream a FloSports Athlete’s Lounge show hosted by award-winning rugby broadcaster Dallen Stanford.

Stanford and a handful of guests, including Kurt Morath, will give live instant reaction, breakdowns and analysis for the day’s biggest matches. Those include defending champion Bath’s trip to Twickenham to face Harlequins F.C. and the Newcastle Red Bulls’ match against Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje and Saracens F.C.
Rugby fans in the United States can tune in to catch the FloRugby Athlete’s Lounge free broadcast at 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 26 on FloRugby, the FloSports app, and the FloRugby YouTube and Facebook pages.
And the Athlete's Lounge will be back. Stanford and guests will return on Oct. 4 for the final match of The Rugby Championship between Argentina and South Africa at 9 a.m. ET.
What Is The FloSports Athlete’s Lounge?
FloSports debuted the Athlete’s Lounge in April 2025 for coverage of the Diamond League track and field season. The simulcast show included the stream of the Diamond League broadcast while some of the sport’s best athletes broke down the action live and in studio at the FloSports headquarters in Austin, Texas.
Dallen Stanford Brings A Springbok Flair To The Athlete’s Lounge
Stanford is simply one of the best rugby broadcasters and analysts in the world today. The South African-born commentator, who now calls the United States home, played for USA Rugby Sevens and has covered multiple Rugby World Cups. He was also the first American lead commentator for the Rugby World Cup.

The FloRugby Athlete’s Lounge will debut at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, live and in the FloSports studio. The stream will be free for all audiences in the United States and territories. The show will also be streamed live on FloRugby’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
