Clermont Rugby (13-0-13) remains one of the Top 14’s most recognizable clubs, known for its yellow and blue kits and the thunderous atmosphere at Stade Marcel-Michelin.

The team’s history is filled with near-misses and breakthroughs, including its long wait for a first French championship, which finally came in 2010.

That identity — persistence and pride — carries into the current season. Clermont may not enter as favorites, but it is a team capable of unsettling anyone. Last year’s balanced record reflected a squad in transition, but also one with clear attacking threats and a defense capable of matching physical opponents.
