Pool B at the 2025 Rugby Women’s World Cup features Canada, Scotland, Wales and Fiji, with matches beginning Aug. 23 in Manchester. 

Canada enters as the top seed and world No. 2, widely expected to push for a semifinal spot after reaching the semifinals in 2022. The Canadians open against Fiji on Aug. 23 in York.

Scotland, ranked No. 8, and Wales, ranked No. 9, will face off on the opening weekend at Salford Community Stadium in Manchester. That rivalry match could be decisive in determining which team advances to the knockout rounds. 

Fiji, making its second World Cup appearance, brings flair and unpredictability, but faces a challenging path against higher-ranked opposition.

Canada’s matchups with Wales on Aug. 30 and Scotland on Sept. 6 headline the group schedule, while Scotland vs. Fiji on Aug. 30 could carry significant implications. 

With three Northern Hemisphere teams and one from the Pacific, Pool B is expected to be tightly contested behind the Canadian favorite.

All Pool B matches will be streamed live in the United States on Paramount+, with select games airing on CBS Sports Network.
