The No. 2-ranked All Blacks are poised to rise to the No. 1 spot in the world, but they face a challenging match in Argentina against Los Pumas.
The Wallabies also could be moving up.
The No. 6-ranked team in the world would love to enter the top 5 of the rankings before December’s World Cup draw. The win in Johannesburg was the first win over the Springboks at Ellis Park since 1963.
No. 3-ranked Ireland could move to No. 2, but the question is how far will the Springboks fall in the rankings. Ireland beat the Springboks in July 2024.
