South Africa Rugby remains atop the World Rugby Men’s Rankings with 92.78 points, holding the No. 1 spot since November.
The Springboks are set to open The Rugby Championship on Aug. 16 with a home clash against No. 6 Australia, the first of back-to-back matches in South Africa.

A key highlight of the competition will come in September, when New Zealand hosts the Springboks for a pair of matches in The Rugby Championship.
The All Blacks trail the Springboks by less than a full point, with 92.06 ranking points.
Ireland, France and England round out the top 5, while Argentina, Scotland and Fiji are tightly packed in the next tier.
The United States is ranked No. 17 with 68.45 points, just behind Spain and ahead of Uruguay. Points are at a premium with the 2027 Rugby World Cup Draw coming December.
