The fixture marks the end of Scotland’s Pacific Tour and Samoa’s 2025 debut, as both sides look to build momentum before key competitions in the months ahead.

Samoa will be led by flanker Theo McFarland, who captains a squad blending power up front with playmakers in the back line, including Jacob Umaga at fly-half and Melani Matavao at scrumhalf.
The match marks Samoa’s first appearance of the year ahead of the Pacific Nations Cup, which begins in August.
Scotland, meanwhile, is without several senior players—including Jamie Ritchie and Darcy Graham—but will feature Rory Darge as captain and a new-look halves pairing in Jamie Dobie and Fergus Burke.
