Scott Robertson Names 2025 All Blacks Squad

The New Zealand All Blacks and France Rugby resume one of international rugby’s longest-running rivalries on July 5, when the All Blacks host Les Bleus at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin to open the 2025 test season.

The three-match series will take place entirely in New Zealand and is streaming live in the United States on FloRugby and the FloSports app.

The first match kicks off at 3:05 a.m. ET, with FloRugby’s live coverage beginning at 2:55 a.m. ET.

This marks the first meeting between the two nations since France edged New Zealand 30-29 in the 2024 Autumn Nations Series in Paris. That match was decided by a late penalty, but this time, the All Blacks are back on home soil, starting their season with a statement opportunity.

Ardie Savea, widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, is expected to start for New Zealand.

France, meanwhile, will be without star scrumhalf Antoine Dupont, who remains sidelined as he continues recovery from a torn ACL suffered earlier this year against Ireland in the Six Nations.

France arrives with a squad missing several established stars but featuring experienced veterans and promising newcomers.

Despite being on opposite ends of the globe, New Zealand and France have a rich history.

Here are some all-time stats before the first match:

New Zealand Rugby Vs. France All-Time Stats

New Zealand and France first played each other in 1906. Since then, the All Blacks have won 48 of the 64 meetings. France has won 15 times, and the two nations have drawn once.

In recent history, Damian McKenzie has tallied 47 points in six matches against France, including three tries.

Beauden Barrett has been even more prolific, scoring 61 points across 10 appearances with four tries.

Both are expected to contribute again this summer, as New Zealand looks to set the tone early in its 2025 campaign.

France has had the All Blacks' number for several years now.

New Zealand enters the series having lost the last three matches since 2021.

The All Blacks' last win was in 2018 at Dunedin, where the first match this year will be played.
