The New Zealand Black Ferns look to continue their dominance within the international women's rugby realm with another matchup against the USA Women's Eagles on Friday. 

The Black Ferns are ranked third in the world behind England and Canada in the World Rugby Rankings, while the Eagles are ninth.

Entering this season with a Women's World Cup Championship win, New Zealand has been off to a promising start, taking out Australia 38-12 to open the season and settling for a draw against the No. 2-ranked Canada 27-27 last week. 

USA has struggled in its first couple matches in the Pacific Four Series, taking a 26-14 loss to Canada and a 27-19 loss to Australia, despite having Olympic rugby sensation Illona Maher on its squad. 

Within their last 15 games played against each other, the Black Ferns have outscored the Women's Eagles 660-51 and have not conceded a win to USA since 1991. 

This Friday could feature the Black Ferns wreaking havoc once again or a historic victory for the Women's Eagles ahead of the 2025 Women's World Cup.
