France can secure the 2025 Six Nations title with a bonus-point win over Scotland. A standard win also likely seals victory due to their points difference.

What France Needs To Do To Win The 2025 Guinness Six Nations

France stands on the precipice of its first Six Nations title since 2022, with destiny firmly in its hands ahead of hosting Scotland at the Stade de France on Super Saturday.

Les Bleus, fresh from a dominant victory over defending champion Ireland in Dublin, need just one more win to seal the championship.

A bonus-point victory - securing four tries or more - will guarantee France the title, regardless of results elsewhere.

Even a standard win likely would be enough due to France’s enormous points difference advantage.

Fabien Galthié’s side boasts an 86-point cushion over England, the closest challenger.

In the Six Nations, points difference trumps head-to-head records, meaning France's Round 2 loss to England has no bearing on the standings.

A draw with a bonus point also would suffice, if England and Ireland fail to claim maximum points in their respective matches against Wales and Italy.

Meanwhile, even a defeat could see France crowned champion, if neither England nor Ireland secures enough points to surpass them.

France will have to secure the title without star scrumhalf Antoine Dupont, who remains sidelined with an ACL injury.

Nevertheless, with the home crowd behind them and a dominant forward pack, Les Bleus are overwhelming favorites to lift the trophy.

Should they succeed, it would mark only their second Six Nations title since 2010, further cementing Galthié’s era as a resurgence for French rugby.

All eyes will be on Paris come Saturday evening, where the fate of the championship likely will be decided.
