Wallabies coach Eddie Jones was in a fiery mood as he answered questions from the Australian media ahead of Bledisloe one next weekend.

Having lost both of their opening two fixtures, the Wallabies are staring down the barrel of a winless Rugby Championship campaign.

For Jones, starting his second stint in charge of his home national side with back-to-back defeats surely must not have been part of the script.

Taking a beating in South Africa against what he himself described as a second team before losing to Argentina in the final minutes in Sydney a week later. Is an inauspicious start to what looks to be a long journey for Jones and the Wallabies.

Despite claiming that this has all been part of the process over the past few weeks, Jones has had to contend with some fiery media interactions.

Of course, this is nothing new for the 63-year-old who battled the notoriously tough English media for seven years during his time at the helm of the Red Roses.

Yet, for all of the barbs back and forth, one question in his most recent media interaction seems to strike a chord.

As the press conference wound down, it was put to Jones that he doesn’t care what the fans think.

Whilst we have seen some pretty fiery responses from Jones over the years, this one was particularly venomous.
