The Heineken Champions Cup semifinals begins with Pool A winner Leinster hosting Toulouse in a massive showdown between two of Europe’s top professional teams. 

Leinster went 4-0 in Pool A and advanced into the knockout stage as one of the top seeds. Leinster beat its first two opponents in the knock out stage by a combined 46 points en route to the semifinals. 

Toulouse, one of the most successful clubs in European Rugby Champions Cup history with five titles, including in 2021, was also 4-0 in pool play. Toulouse finished second in Pool B to defending champion La Rochelle, finishing one point behind La Rochelle.
