According to reporting in the Times, Ewels could feature as soon as this weekend for the Bulls in their Currie Cup clash with the Sharks.
Ewels' move to the Bulls comes due to Bath having used up their salary cap allocation for the season based on the understanding that Ewels would not return from injury this season.
The 2014 Junior World Cup winner’s return will be a major boost for England head coach Steve Borthwick as the 27-year-old brings significant experience, having made his debut back in 2016.
Since then, he has earned 30 caps for England, including being a member of their 2019 World Cup squad. At club level, the Bournemouth-born Ewels has made over 100 appearances for Bath Rugby.
