USA South Players Reflect On Stellar Summer
The USA South Panthers all-star program added a little extra dose of legitimacy to their summer with a top four finish at the North American Invitational 7s in Salt Lake City over the weekend.

The Panthers program secured first and fifth place at the Rugby Americans North (RAN) U19 championship, representing the USA against Caribbean and Central American nations in 15-a-side rugby. That was in July, and a quick turnaround saw several of those players turn up in Salt Lake City to play 7s.

They might have been tired and perhaps locked into a 15s style of play, but the Panthers adapted quickly under the tutelage of Mark Williams and Daniel Pretorius to go 3-0 on day one of the NAI 7s at the Regional Athletic Complex.

South players Muhammed Abdullah, Diego Haro, and Zach Rademacher sat down with FloRugby Editor Alex Goff to talk about winning 7s games, the Panthers program, and what it meant to play in, and win, the RAN U19 Championships.
