We couldn't have asked for a more exciting finale to the Red River Rugby Championship. Baylor and LSU put on a show Saturday afternoon in Austin. At the center of the action was Baylor wing, Abu Kamara. Kamara is still new to the sport and learning the nuances of the game. He received a yellow card in the first half, throwing him in the "sin bin" for ten minutes.

LSU controlled the first half, opening up with a 19-7 lead over Baylor. The Bears were in desperate need of some energy, and Kamara delivered with a decisive play seven minutes into the second half. Fielding the ball on the sideline, his 4.48 40yd speed was too much for the Tigers. Kamara turned on the jets to tear through the LSU defense and bring it back to a one-score match. This moment was the turning point that led to a thrilling comeback. You can watch the full match in the video above.

Abu Kamara also made his presence felt on defense with some big tackles.

After the win, FloRugby's Michael Cramer caught up with Kamara and Pete Hamm. They talk about what it means for the program to come away with the Red River Rugby Championship title.
