Life West, Scion, New York, Chicago, San Diego, American Pro, Seattle Atavus, and NOVA are into the cup quarterfinals of the USA Rugby Women's Club 7s Championships after all finished in the top two of their pools on Saturday in Blaine, MN.

Life West, Scion, and Glendale all ended up 2-1 and had to be separated by points differential -- Life West took first at plus-49.



Pools C and D weren't decided until the final round of games. In Pool C, American Rugby Pro 7s and the San Diego Surfers both entered the game 2-0. American Pro led 12-7 with time winding down before San Diego's Kelsi Stockert scored to tie the game, and two minutes later Megan Foster touched down to win if for the Surfers. 



It was equally close for Seattle Atavus and NOVA. Both were 2-0 going into the final game, and NOVA got a try from Summer Harris-Jones to put her side up 17-14. But late in the second half Erica Legaspi raced over for her fifth try of the day to win the game for Seattle. Anne Peterson made all three of her conversions which was crucial in the 21-17 victory.
